BACK PROTECTION

Protects PET film and thermal head, reduces static electricity and improves ribbon unwinding inside the printer.

 

POLYETHYLENE FILM (PET)

This film is used as a base for coating the ink's back protection. It helps transfer heat from the thermal printhead to the ink.

 

RELEASE

Helps the ink to release from the film, even at low temperatures.

 

INKS

Made from wax, wax/resin or simply resin. It is deposited on the substrate during printing and forms the printed image. Its composition determines its resistance to heat, friction, solvents, etc.

Special precautions

Application

5 to 35°C with 30 to 85% relative humidity.

 

Shelf life

24 months from cutting date.

 

Storage conditions

Storage should preferably be indoors, out of direct sunlight. It is preferable to keep ribbons away from direct sources of heat, and to avoid prolonged periods in high-humidity environments.
