'GreenLine' production center

The remanufacturing activity of MPFs is now one of the strong actions taken by the RICOH Group worldwide and is part of a real process of resources conservation (zero carbon) and eco-responsibility.

•    Waste limitation and increased reuse and recycling of resources, to meet European environmental standards.
•    Standardization and industrialization of the processes and the recycling methods throughout Europe.
•    GreenLine copiers which are equivalent to new machines, ensure reliability and performance.

The GreenLine activity started in February 2012 on the Wettolsheim site and a monthly average production of 240 machines is forecasted from October 2012 onwards.

Recycling of PCU (Photo Conductor Unit)

The Photo Conductor Unit is a part of the copier whose essential functions are image development and toner collection.

In terms of environmental protection, RICOH INDUSTRIE FRANCE deployed a recycling activity for used cartridges. RICOH INDUSTRIE FRANCE receives today all RICOH cartridges collected on the European market. Depending on their condition, they are either re-filled or completely dismantled, cleaned and remanufactured.
