Ricoh Sheep

As part of its sustainable development approach and its biodiversity project “Life & Colours” launched in 2007 for its 20th anniversary in Alsace, Ricoh industrie France continues its actions with new environmental initiatives and just welcomed some Engadine sheep, a hardy breed, on its production site in Wettolsheim (close to Colmar) to care for its green space and to clean talus slopes of the field that surrounds the production site.

The herd of about thirty sheep which belongs to landscape architect and sheep farmer Xavier Rolais, located in Petit Landau, will stay on the plant until the start of winter. This transition from the mechanical lawnmover to the environmental all terrain mover is really new for Ricoh Industrie France
